I have been making corsets since the mid 1990's and have either bought pre finished bones or wrangled with 2 pairs of pliers to add my bone tips. I finally bit the bullet and got the bone tipping dies (they had to come to the other side of the globe to get to me) and they are well worth it. They give a beautiful smooth crimp that looks far more professional than the 2 plier method and are incredibly easy to use. If you're cutting your own bones you seriously need to get some of these.
