This mesh is so fine, but not particularly delicate - think "organza". The colour is very subtle - more off white than beige. On the bolt it looks yellow, but a single layer is very a very subtle warm off white. It's not strong enough for corset making, but it's definitely worth experimenting with, as an underlayer to add a little body to other fabric. Feels like an organza with lots of body.
