Description

Teens (13-19) learn to sew or hone their skills. This camp will have campers make a peasant style top using a commercial pattern. It's 3 days only! Day one will focus on the pattern and the fabrics and how to cut the garment out. On day three; if we finish early other small projects will be made and there will be opportunity for fashion design and illustration.

They'll learn how to interpret a commercial pattern, measuring and adjusting the pattern to fit them. They'll learn how to use different cutting tools and how and when to use various stitches on the sewing machine. The'll make casings, french seams and narrow hems.
