Herringbone coutil, black 56 inch wide. This coutil is in several corsets that have been on TV and the big screen. There is lacing tape that matches it; tape with eyelets set in it, so you just sew in on and lace the corset up.

  • 280 grams per sq. meter
  • 100% cotton

Sold by the METER ( 1 meter is approximately 3" longer that a yard)

It's also used by a few theatres for the base layer of doublets that will have boning. It's perfect for supporting these shapes.

I love this stuff. Strong, heavier weight, actually black not dingy gray-green, holds up well for corsets that are not fully immersed in water washed (have not tested it for that yet).
